Repair Instead of Replace

I know landlords want reliable fixes, and replacing a boiler can mean unexpected hassle and expense. That’s why I always aim to repair instead of replace where possible.

Some engineers jump straight to recommending a replacement, especially with older boilers, even when a fix is still possible. That’s not me. I only recommend replacing a boiler if:

• It doesn’t meet current safety standards, or
• It’s genuinely beyond economical repair

If it’s safe and sensible, I’ll fix it. It’s quicker, cheaper, and easier for everyone.

Services & Pricing

I offer clear, competitive pricing with either fixed price or hourly rates, depending on the type of work:

• Boiler Service: £60
• Gas Safety Check (CP12): £40 (covers up to two appliances)
• Callouts & Repairs: £70 for the first hour, then £30 per half hour
• Other work: Fixed price quotes available

I’m happy to provide a quote for any work with a fixed scope, and quotes are binding so there are no surprises. Many jobs can be quoted over the phone. If I need more information to provide a quote, then I can estimate over the phone and visit the property to provide a quote.

Emergency callouts are also welcome. Callouts and repairs are charged a callout fee of £70 for the first hour, then £30 half-hourly after that.

Availability

I know emergencies don’t stick to a 9-to-5 schedule. That’s why I’m here to help, seven days a week:

• Weekdays: 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM
• Weekends: 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM
